Imagine having a wise friend who always asks the right questions. That's exactly what Go Deeper is – an AI that gently but firmly guides you to deeper insights. Let's discover how this revolutionary feature transforms your journaling.

What is Go Deeper?

More Than Just Questions

Go Deeper is:

  • A reflection catalyst: Brings hidden thoughts to light
  • A pattern detector: Recognizes what's between the lines
  • A gentle challenger: Asks questions you don't ask yourself
  • A development accelerator: Leads to faster breakthroughs

The Intelligence Behind It

The AI analyzes:

  • What you write: Words, themes, emotions
  • How you write: Tone, energy, avoidance patterns
  • What you don't write: Gaps and avoidances
  • Where you tend: Your thought patterns

Based on this, it generates tailored questions.

How Go Deeper Works

The Process

  1. You write your journal entry
  2. Tap "Go Deeper" (toolbar above keyboard)
  3. AI analyzes your text (1-2 seconds)
  4. The question is inserted into your text
  5. You write your answer or click the button again to change the question

The Magic of the Right Question

Example transformation:

Your text: "Had another fight with my partner. It's annoying."

Go Deeper questions might be:

  • "What exactly triggers you in these moments?"
  • "What do you really need when you fight?"
  • "What pattern do you recognize in your conflicts?"
  • "What would your wisest self advise you?"

The effect: Frustration becomes insight

Different Question Types

Emotion Explorer

When you write about emotions:

  • "What's underneath this anger?"
  • "Where do you feel this sadness in your body?"
  • "What would happen if you allowed the fear?"

Goal: Emotional depth and understanding

Pattern Revealer

When something repeats:

  • "When have you felt this way before?"
  • "What old pattern is being activated here?"
  • "What's the common thread in these situations?"

Goal: Recognize connections

Perspective Shifter

For new viewpoints:

  • "How would your best friend see the situation?"
  • "What would you advise someone in your situation?"
  • "How will this look in 5 years?"

Goal: Step out of ego perspective

Resource Activator

For solution orientation:

  • "What has helped you in similar situations?"
  • "Which of your strengths could you use here?"
  • "What's the smallest possible step forward?"

Goal: From problem to solution

Values Explorer

For deeper clarity:

  • "Which value is being violated here?"
  • "What's really important to you in this situation?"
  • "What do you stand for?"

Goal: Authenticity and alignment

Practical Application

The Perfect Go Deeper Moment

Use Go Deeper when:

  • You're writing in circles
  • A theme keeps recurring
  • You're emotionally stuck
  • You're only scratching the surface
  • You're ready for depth
  • You want to evaluate your ideas realistically

Step-by-Step Example

1. Your starting text: "I'm totally overwhelmed with everything. Work, family, it's all too much."

2. Activate Go Deeper Tap the button

3. Question appears: "Whose expectations are you trying to meet?"

4. You continue writing: "Oh wow... actually it's not the others. I put the most pressure on myself. I want to be perfect for everyone..."

5. Go Deeper again: "Where does this perfectionism come from?"

6. And deeper: "Even as a child I had to..."

The journey inward begins

Go Deeper Strategies

The Yes-And Method

Don't resist the questions:

  • Even when they're uncomfortable
  • Especially when they trigger
  • Particularly when you want to avoid

Say internally: "Yes, and let me see..."

The 3-Level Technique

Use Go Deeper three times in a row:

  1. Level 1: Surface problem
  2. Level 2: Underlying feeling
  3. Level 3: Core theme or origin

Example:

  1. "Boss annoys me"
  2. → "Feel unseen"
  3. → "Like back then with dad"

Body Integration

After a Go Deeper question:

  1. Take a deep breath
  2. Feel into your body
  3. Where does the answer sit?
  4. Let your body answer
  5. Write what comes

Common Resistance and Solutions

"The questions don't fit"

Possible reasons:

  • You weren't specific enough yet
  • The AI needs more context
  • You're not ready for depth

Solution: Write more first, then Go Deeper

"This is too personal"

Understand: The AI doesn't judge Remember: Only you read this Allow yourself: To go at your pace

Baby steps are okay

"I don't know the answer"

Perfect! That's the point

  • Not knowing is the beginning
  • Write "I don't know, but..."
  • Or "If I had to guess..."

The answer comes while writing

"This scares me"

Fear often shows the way:

  • That's usually where the gold is
  • But: Respect your boundaries
  • Use Go Deeper like homeopathy
  • Small doses, big effect

Go Deeper Mastery

Signs You've Got It

  • You look forward to the questions
  • You go deep on your own
  • The questions become more precise
  • You find the core faster
  • Transformation becomes normal

Advanced Techniques

Dialogue with questions:

  • Question the questions
  • "Why are you asking that?"
  • "What do you want to show me?"
  • Let a meta-level emerge

Collect questions:

  • Note particularly powerful questions
  • Use them again later
  • Build your question treasure

Respecting Boundaries

Go Deeper is Not a Therapist

It can:

  • Encourage self-reflection
  • Open new perspectives
  • Make patterns visible
  • Accelerate development

It cannot:

  • Replace professional help
  • Heal trauma
  • Make diagnoses
  • Solve complex psychological issues

Self-Care First

Stop when:

  • You feel overwhelmed
  • Old wounds hurt too much
  • You need support
  • Your body says "no"

It's always okay to take a break

Integration into Your Journal Flow

The Go Deeper Routine

Option 1: At the end

  • Write complete entry
  • Then Go Deeper for deepening
  • Like a follow-up conversation

Option 2: In the middle

  • When you get stuck
  • As a door opener
  • To move forward

Option 3: Systematically

  • Every 3rd entry
  • As a fixed ritual
  • For continuous depth

The Gift of Go Deeper

Go Deeper is like a wise companion on your inner journey. The AI asks the questions, but the answers come from you. Each question is an invitation to know yourself better.

Over time you'll notice: The best questions you'll eventually ask yourself. Go Deeper trains your inner therapist.
